I always remember, if you watch too much television you will have square eyes. There may have been some idea behind it though as it was believed that watching tv damaged your eyesight and you’d have to wear glasses.
I had two children with my first husband and three with my second. I was happy to stop when my last child was born, especially as I was so old that when I got pregnant I thought I was in the menopause! He’s nearly 7 now and I’m still waiting for the Big M!
Of course kids should have a routine, but each parent develops their own. I do think that routine helps the child settle better and ultimately sleep better. My kids go to bed the same time and the same way each night.
I’m really not happy with children using Facebook, you see all sorts on their and it’s difficult to moderate. Facebook themselves recommend a minimum age of 13 and I think it should be made higher, to about 16.
I had my first two close together, 17 months, then I had a 16 year gap before my third. Then I had two more with a two and three year gap.
