Drones are very quickly becoming mainstream. Almost every YouTuber has one.
I think the use of drones for delivery purpose is an awesome use. Taking it one step further, they can help get supplies and help to those who need it in rural and difficult to reach places.
One issue with more and more drones is controlling the airspace :/
drones are great, but if you’re looking into getting one, make sure you go for one of the good ones, spend 800 instead of 300 because the cheaper ones are pretty unreliable. Speaking from my own experiences
Weaponize autonomous drones can be a bad idea and more dangeroius than ever if they malfunction or get hacked as these drones sensores are designed not to miss which could have major casualty’s and be more leathal than any bobmings we have ever seen before.

Depends what you want from your drone. I’ve just received my Mavic Pro for video, but that is a little above your budget. You’re better off just saving your money and buying something nicer to start with – you can get a Phantom 3 Standard or Advanced on eBay for a pretty decent price these days, and they’re super easy to fly.
I agree, me and my mates love making videos for college and youtube and I think that getting footage from a drone would be sick! They’re a lot of dollar though and I think thats the only thing really putting me off getting one. Maybe if their was a more affordable option when it comes to drones and filming drones?
