Yes, it is Linux based. More like Chrome OS really (but not restricted, allows modules from C++ etc). Apps use javascript (currently use Nw Js, but should soon work with the competitor “Electron” to cover all developers in this area). which Mac do you have Macbook, Macbook Pro, Macbook Air, IMac ore Mac Pro? I want to buy a new laptop this summer but I dont know if i choose the macbook 12 or whait till the 2016 Macbook pro gets released. What do you think
