I’m not sure how i feel about this. The fee is definitely too high and it now begs the question as to what other players are worth and will again raise the general going rate for players. But if the player himself has paid the fee it’s hard to throw stick at PSG for the fee more Barcelona for setting such a high release clause! Also it’s…

Do you think they should be used to help all decisions a referee has to make or limited to only a few?

I would agree definitely in terms of cricket, tennis and rugby that it’s needed and been very good for the sports. But they do need to outline clear rules of how and when it can be used in football. Like I know at the moment it’s only down to the referee if it’s used, maybe it should be like tennis and each team is entitled to a number of appeals per game.

I think VAR is amazing for sport, especially sports with game changing decisions e.g. Try yes or no, or was it pitching in line for an LBW. If we didn’t have VAR in place that there would be so many crucial decisions missed. With VAR being added to football it needs to be worked out how it’s going to be used before bringing it in to the game.

With VAR systems recently being introduce into football and already in use in various other sports such as Tennis, Cricket and Rugby, do you think that they are a good thing for the game and would you like to see them introduced into your favourite sports?

As a Chelsea fan this season will probably go down as one of my favourites after claiming the League title last night and with an FA Cup final still to play I definitely didn’t see this coming after last seasons performance. But my favourite season as a Chelsea fan has to be 2009/10 in which we won the double under Carlo Ancelotti did so by…

This Saturday Premier League leaders Chelsea face off against title challengers Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup semi final at Wembley, I myself am a huge Chelsea fan and going to games like this is what all football fans thrive for but is this more than just a cup semi final? How big of an impact could this game have on the title race?
If you…
